“ What an amazing spot! It's been on my list to visit for a while, I'm so glad I tried this out! Such a beautiful, romantic setting. Came for dinner later at night. Fast, friendly service! Wonderful wine selection, and great bruschetta appetizer. The fresh bread was delicious. Went with the fettuccine bolognese for dinner - huge portions, pasta was cooked perfectly and the bolognese was flavorful. My new favorite Italian spot in wicker park! Will definitely be back soon. ”
“ Wine, bread, pasta, patio! Everything was delicious! Highly recommend and would definitely return. ”
“ WOW!! I loved the patio here (FAST service w very knowledgeable service) and the wine was excellent. I'm taking my partner back here asap We ordered everything off the specials menu and had no regrets. ”
“ Via Carducci la Sorella REALLY shines in the summer months because 1. They usually have beautiful, live music and 2. The exterior is full of romantic flowers and greenery and twinkle lights. Perfecto Italiano! This place is small - Not the best for giant parties, bit also lovely for romantic dinners. The bread they deliver to the tables is WARM! I repeat: warm bread! They lose a star for having a GIANT tv in the dining room. No sound, but still: commercials, replays, sports!!! Such bizarre placement- not in the bar area but in the dining area. ”
“ Excellent Italian with a very family sort of feeling. There's a good selection of pizzas and pastas with a fair number of appetizers and salads. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. There's not a ton of seating inside but when the weather is nice there is a sidewalk patio. You'll also get complimentary fresh bread and focaccia. ”
“ Great little Italian spot! They offered complimentary bread which came with a variety of breads. I would highly recommend the rotini Santa Lucía pasta. The sauce was delicious. However, we also ordered the bolognese which was good, but I wouldn't order again. The flavor was ok, but the noodles were very over cooked. The noodles were already falling Asper as you tried to scoop some up with your fork. ”
“ Our favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant! Via Carducci had a very intimate atmosphere and is perfect for a date night. The staff is so friendly and the owner is always so thoughtful. They go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is exceptional. The food is always top notch! I love their bruschetta and my favorite pasta dish is their pesto Genovese. Instead of chicken, I add mushrooms. I've yet to order something I didn't love and always look forward to my next visit. They also have a fantastic wine list and cocktail menu! ”
“ Cute neighborhood spot. Came highly recommended by a friend especially for their Friday lobster ravioli special. But I'm a big linguine and clams girl and was deciding between that and the ravioli and was told to do linguine and clams and it did not disappoint! At first glance, I thought for sure I'd be able to finish it but looks are deceiving and I had to get it boxed up to go. Really good flavor (nothing earth shattering but a good classic), good portion size and I'd go back for more and to try other pasta dishes. I like the bread service upon seating and the aperol spritz was also nice. Cute spot, smaller interior space and a nice size patio for people watching on division. Would come again. ”
